Three years later...

Haha. My last post was titled "Wow, it's been a while," and I wrote that post in 2008! I think it's really been a while this time!

So there been a lot of changes in my life, and a lot of changes in online gambling world. Since this site is focused on online gambling, I'm just going to write about this :)

So three years have passed, and the online gambling industry has blown up (in a good way). Some of the best online casinos, poker rooms and sports books have been getting bigger and better. They have have more games, better software and improved graphics. A lot of these online casinos have also opened customer loyalty programs just like real casinos in Las Vegas and Atlantic City.

For poker players, they offer rake back directly to your account. For those that don't know the casino makes moeny at poker by taking a "rake" from the pot of each poker hand played. The rake is a small percentage of the total pot. So if the total amount in the pot in one hand is $10, the casino might take $0.10 from the pot. Well not with loyalty programs, casino will now pay back a portion of this $0.10 to the players. While that might not seem like a lot of money, if you sit down and play 8 hours of poker, that $0.10 adds up!

For slots and table game players, that big comps come in form of perks and trips that are only available to the casinos high rollers. Some places have sent their best clients on trips around the World, and of course, most offer full paid trips to some of the best casinos in the Caribbean.

What can I say... I'm sorry for neglecting this blog. I'll try to pay better attention to this in the future. After all, this site has a good page rank, probably not much traffic, but it's a good site to link from. I think... I'm just glad that I have a good site with some history.

It's tricky having blogger site because every now and then, they will try to delete your site for no reason if you haven;t posted in a while. Trust me, I had it happen to this site. It sucks when this happens... I had this site for a few years, and then one day puff - gone.

If anything, I'll need to write something to keep this site going from time to time...

Unfortunately, I don't have anymore time now! That's always the way...

Caribbean 21 & winning - online gambling

So I'm plyaing Caribbean 21 @ BoDog (where else?). I'm only playing for dollars since I'm still learning the game, but I'm doing really good! I've been playing for about 1/2 hour and I'm up $15. Not bad playing for $1 bets right?

If you never played it's a lot like blackjack, but with a few changes, the biggest is that Aces are always worth 1.

Anyway, I think I found next my favorite online casino game.

Poker is probably my first favorite online game, although it can get real boring and frustrating when your not winning. Sometimes I just like to play something fast, were I'm always in the action and don't have to wait while others play for the pot... I know most poker players who will never play casino games, but what the fun in that?

The Mets won, I pushed the over & I got retarded drunk... all and all it was great night.

Aside from that, it's just another lazy afternoon. Still a little hungover and down about $20 playing blackjack @ BoDog... I guess it's the typical Sunday :O)

Mets vs. Atlanta - Betting Baseball

Going to the Mets game today... The odds are Mets -138 and the over/under is 9. I really love going to baseball games, but I like it more if I have some kind of action either way... Since the game is in New York, and I hate to root against the home team, I can't bet Atlanta. I don't really like the line on the Mets either though... When in doubt, I bet the over because it's more fun rooting for runs then against them... Anyway, the game starts in less than 2 hours, and I have to go.

Go Mets! Go Atlanta! Lets get some runs!

Okay, I lost this blog for a few days, but now I'm back! I hate when blogger drops my blogs or someone erases them...
